I’m excited to share the news that I’ve received a grant from Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE). Their Individual Artist Program awarded 238 artists a total of $1.5 million! I’ll use the grant to record my second full-length album with my new trio. Lookout for new music later this year!
My wonderfully creative friend Jack was kind enough to interview me on his podcast. I talk about my album from last year and other aspects of music and creativity. Check it out and subscribe to the podcast!
Echoes of Thought has been receiving positive reviews from publications like All About Jazz and Jazz Trail. I hope you’ll read what folks are saying about the album!
Can’t wait to play with the Echoes of Thought Sextet once again! We’re playing Maas Building, Chris’ Jazz Cafe, and an invite-only show in Bala Cynwyd. All three shows should be a blast! Full details above and on my calendar page. Poster design by Jack at John Lundquist LLC.

My project from earlier this year, “Felt Cute, Might Delete Later,” has been selected to be a part of Big Muddy Dance Co’s inaugural Screen Dance Festival! Very excited to be featured in this great community! Check it out!
I’m featured on a new record by trumpeter Elliot Bild that is being released next week (11/25/2020). “Isms” was recorded live at Chris’ Jazz Cafe last year, and features some of Philadelphia’s finest jazz musicians. It’s always a treat playing Elliot’s music, check it out! Philadelphia Jazz Project did a really nice writeup about the album!
