Playing at one of Chicago’s oldest jazz clubs as part of the Chicago Jazz Composer’s Collective on Sunday, July 24 at 5pm. There’s a great group playing before us at 4, too! Hope to see you there!
I’m excited to share the news that I’ve received a grant from Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE). Their Individual Artist Program awarded 238 artists a total of $1.5 million! I’ll use the grant to record my second full-length album with my new trio. Lookout for new music later this year!
I had an amazing time playing Kenny Wheeler’s album “Angel Song” at the Jazz Record Art Collective series at Fulton Street Collective in Chicago. Hear the performance on their YouTube channel!
My wonderfully creative friend Jack was kind enough to interview me on his podcast. I talk about my album from last year and other aspects of music and creativity. Check it out and subscribe to the podcast!
My debut album with my Philadelphia sextet is out now! Release shows in later October! Thank you all for your support. Please check out the music on Spotify, Apple Music, or buy a CD on Bandcamp. Peace!
My project from earlier this year, “Felt Cute, Might Delete Later,” has been selected to be a part of Big Muddy Dance Co’s inaugural Screen Dance Festival! Very excited to be featured in this great community! Check it out!
